The Health Professionals Council (HPC) continues its ongoing monitoring activities across the country, with a team recently conducting field visits on Praslin two weeks ago. These visits are part of a nationwide effort to ensure all allied health professionals are operating in full compliance with the HPC Act.

Importance of Carrying Identification

Registrants are reminded of the importance of always carrying their HPC-issued badge or certificate while on duty. These documents not only serve as proof of registration but also help assure the public of the legitimacy and professionalism of the services being provided.

Reminder for Lapsed and Unregistered Practitioners

The HPC wishes to remind all health professionals whose registration has lapsed to take immediate steps to regularize their status. Practicing without a valid license is a direct violation of the HPC Act and is considered an offence under the law. Those who have never registered with the HPC must do so without delay.

This phase of monitoring is part of a broader initiative aimed at strengthening regulatory oversight and ensuring that health care delivery remains safe, ethical, and within the legal framework. The HPC urges full cooperation from all professionals during this process.

The Council thanks all those who are in good standing and contributing to upholding the standards of the profession.
