Why should HPC registrants vote for you?
I want to be a voice for all the Allied Health Professionals in Seychelles. I am a hardworking person. A good listener. I work well in a team for actions and decision-making.
What contributions will you make in the area of allied health professionals as a HPC Board member?
I want to work with others to continue increasing the visibility of allied health professionals in Seychelles. Presently, we allied health professionals are not as noticeable as other health service providers even though we are making lots of contributions. HPC is therefore a good platform to use to improve visibility through team efforts. Improving the allied health professionals’ standard of practice is another area I want to push to protect the public, to increase the capacity and competencies of Allied Health Professionals, and strengthen the respect and trust from others. This will subsequently improve many other areas for us that are not directly related to HPC functions.

Nerrie Florentine
Pharmaceutical Technician
I strongly believe I could be a great addition and voice for the Allied Health Professionals.
If I was to be elected, my goal is to point out and speak up on how underappreciated and undervalued we as Allied Health Professionals are and how much we give to our patients, clients, and community. But our efforts are not seen or talked about as often as other health professionals are.
I will contribute by bringing a new perspective on how we can be recognized for our efforts because we do give a lot. So, if you decide to vote for me today, I will make sure that I put my backbone into choosing to fight for us Allied Health Professionals every single day to bring us out of the dark and into the light.
