Greetings and a warm welcome to the Seychelles Health Professional Council webpage!
With the ongoing pandemic, the council strives to become more digital and do hope this webpage helps with all primary and fundamental queries being addressed.
Allied Health Professionals: HPC’S primary role is to ensure all Allied Health Professionals are registered and competent to practice under one of the 20 health fields covered by the HPC ACT 2006. To ensure compliance to the laws and regulations, the council provides guidance by way of guidelines such as the scope of practice and standards of practice, which can be found on the webpage. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is also mandatory for renewal of registration and thus the council has made available log sheets, activity records and a guide which is accessible here.
The Public: HPC protects public’s interest by promoting high standards of registration, regulation and practice by all Allied Health Professionals practicing in Seychelles. The public is urged to inform the council through our complaint form of any misconduct, malpractice, breach of confidentiality and any behaviour deemed unprofessional by any Allied Health Professional.
